What is Hemp?
There are 85 compounds unique to the cannabis plant called cannabinoids, the two most prominent being hemp, the non-psychoactive cannabinoid found primarily in hemp, and THC, the psychoactive cannabinoid found primarily in marijuana that produces the feeling of being high.
The Endocannabinoid System
Both hemp react with cannabinoid receptors found in the human body and brain, called the endocannabinoid system. When hemp bonds with the body’s receptors, it helps maintain vital health functions and brings balance to the body.
Is hemp safe?
Hemp promises many health benefits and does not contain any harmful chemicals. There is no evidence showing hemp to have any negative effects – even for pregnant women.

Not all hemp is created equal. At Cannabliss Organic, we use organically grown Colorado hemp and a food grade organic ethanol extraction process that does not damage the cannabinoids. We also use the whole plant, getting the full cannabinoid profile, with the oil containing 87% hemp. That’s a high concentration!
